The deadline for nominations is September 1st | The event will honor an outstanding local female who exemplifies strength, passion and action in the realm of philanthropy and community impact | Submit your nomination here.
Please see below for the nomination criteria.
Criteria:
- Person must be a local female of Cowlitz or Wahkiakum Counties.
- Person lives the United Way mission, “We mobilize the caring power of our community to continuously improve the lives of every person in Cowlitz & Wahkiakum Counties”
- Person actively formulates ideas and motions towards the quality of life or place of the community and its members.
- Person gives, advocates or volunteers for various causes.
- Person is overall a strong, positive contributing member of the community.
**The Power of the Purse committee will review all nominations, and determine which nominees will be in the finals and recognized at The Power of the Purse. United Way Executive Committee will vote to determine the winner. Winner to be announced during The Power of the Purse on October 19, 2023.
