Transparency & Corrections

Accuracy is essential to trust.

When Wings makes a mistake, we correct it promptly, clearly, and publicly. Corrections are always labeled as corrections and are displayed in ways readers can easily see — including notes at the bottom of stories, in photo captions, or on graphics when necessary.

We do not use vague language to describe factual corrections. When an error occurs, we acknowledge it directly.

Wings follows the Society of Professional Journalists (SPJ) Code of Ethics, which guides our reporting and editorial decisions.
